Changing the type color

The type you enter gets its color from the current foreground color; however, you can change the type color before or after you enter type. When editing existing type layers, you can change the color of individual characters or all type in a layer. You can also apply a gradient to text in a type layer. (See Applying gradient fill to text.)

To change the type color:

1 If you're working with an existing layer, select one or more characters whose color you want to change. To change the color of all characters in a layer, select the type layer in the Layers palette, and then select a type tool.

2 In the options bar, click the Color selection box, and select a color using the color picker.
